I did not develop this touchscreen on the front-end, however, I wrote several functions using Visual Basic for Applications to streamline the data entry process used to populate it.
Developed a web-based touchscreen application using APIs from ESPN’s Tournament Challenge app development team. The graphic displays rankings of teams in the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament, groups participating in the app, and an interactive map.
Collaborated with FiveThirtyEight for the 2018 Tournament Challenge Marathon; added custom CSS and JavaScript to adapt their brackets for touchscreen use.
Developed web application used by talent and show crew to send live text messages to an on-air Viz graphic.
Developed a web-based user interface to send commands to a Viz virtual graphic, allowing talent to operate from an iPad.
Updated the Heisman touchscreen for use at the 2017 Heisman Trophy Presentation, plus a weekly segment on SportsCenter. Provided technical support for an iPad execution at the event: Studio execution at touchscreen:
Worked with developers at FiveThirtyEight.com to modify their interactive college football predictions for use in the touchscreen.
Collaborated with ESPN.com to modify their interactive story on Kirk Cousins for touchscreen use.
